Recently came across an article in Architectural Digest about Sofar Sounds -described on Wikipedia as a music event company out of London / Shoreditch that finds intimate & cool settings for secret concerts... in that the guests don't the line-up nor the specific location until the time of performance.
Architectural Digest was impressed by two St Louis venues, Bumbershoot Aerial Arts Studio and the renovated carriage house owned by the grandson of former Mayor Tucker. The 14 other highlighted sights include incredible international locations such as the top of ski jump in Oslo, the rooftop of Gaudi's Casa Batllo in Barcelona, and the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago.
Checking the web-site and it appears the next one is scheduled for February 17th somewhere in Webster - count me intrigued & impressed -St Louis was noted twice!
